35th Annual Toys for Kids Drive
November 15th is the kickoff for our 35th Annual Toys for Kids drive! Gifts should be for children ages infant to 16 years of age and should be new and unwrapped. Monetary gifts are also welcome and should be marked Holiday Project. No donation is too small. Center Bank will match up to $1,000 of the value of toy and money received. The drive will conclude on Wednesday, December 11th. All donations stay in Meeker County.
Meeker County families are referred by churches, schools and various government agencies or they may sign up themselves. Toys will be distributed through United Community Action Partnership.
The overwhelming generosity of the people in this area has let 17,564 Meeker County Children have a happier Christmas over the past 34 years. Thank you to all that have helped make this project so successful!
Burgers For A Cause - Huge Success!
Burgers for a Cause was a huge success thanks to the many businesses and individuals that stopped by for burgers. We were able to raise $4,400 for Ecumen of Litchfield to use to redesign their exercise room along with purchasing new wheelchair friendly equipment.

Community Champion
Center Bank has again been recognized by the Minnesota Bankers Association as a Community Champion. In Litchfield, a hamburger fundraiser was held in September which abled donations to be made to Ecumen of Litchfield in the amount of $4,400.00. The Plymouth location contributed personal products to Every Third Saturday. Every Third Saturday fosters hope and supports post traumatic growth for veterans. The Chaska location was a sponsor of the 2nd Annual Celebration of Philanthropy Dinner for Carver County.

Vibrant Broadband and Center Bank hosted a Hackers, Scammers & AI event for people wanting to learn more about protecting themselves from online threats and how to guard against hackers and scammers.
Great information was provided as to what to look for to determine if an email or a text is from someone wanting to obtain your personal information for their personal benefit along with other tips to protect yourself.
Center Bank has a booklet available with tips and tricks for you and information on what to do if you are scammed or hacked. Feel free to stop by and pick one up.
Scams are on the Rise!
Scammers are out there trying to get you to give them your money in any way they can. Some current scams are: Social Security Scams, Phone Scams, Romance Scams, Phishing Scams and Unemployment Scams, just to name a few. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has several videos that you can watch for free showing how fraudsters try to manipulate you to hand over your money. You can clink on the link below to view them.
